Amputee Rehabilitation Program: We Understand
The lost of a limb is a major loss for a person to come to terms with, involving both physical and emotional adjustments. These adjustments take time and will vary from person to person. During your stay on the inpatient program you will have an opportunity to meet other people who have also had amputations. Many people find this contact helpful as they are able to discuss mutual concerns with others who have experienced a similar loss.
It is our sincere hope that your stay as an inpatient on the amputee program will help you begin the process of dealing with these many adjustments you are now facing and result in a more independent and higher quality of life.
