Specialized Geriatric Services: Education
Education and capacity building is one of the key mandates of Specialized Geriatric Services. We are committed to identifying, sharing, and disseminating best practices to facilitate knowledge into clinical practice. We strive to connect healthcare professionals to each other to share resources, innovations, and expertise. We offer ongoing education and development sessions to our clinicians to advance care of the elderly.
The SGS Fall Education Series, SWOGAN Team Exchange, Geriatric Medicine Refresher Day, and the Geriatric Psychiatry Symposium are offered on a yearly basis. Geriatric Grand Rounds are offered on a monthly basis and are accessible via teleconference.
