Because the Season of Celebration is brightening lives
The Season of Celebration campaign began with a single question from the care giving team: “How can we make the Christmas season a little brighter for those in our care who can’t go home for the holidays?”
Today, more than 20 years later, Season of Celebration is a tradition, as treasured as the season it celebrates. Donations to this year’s Season campaign will support St. Joseph’s Breast Care Centre and patient and resident comfort items such as pressure reducing mattresses, Smart Board technology and major medical equipment.

While not a traditional holiday colour, Season’s pink ‘lights of caring’ have special meaning. They became part of the Season campaign through a piece of artwork created for the launch 22 years ago. The pink lights also have a connection to the rose candle in the Christian Advent Wreath.
