Shared ride transportation service for persons who are unable to use London's conventional transit service. Riders must call 451-5950 to become a registered user, and then call 453-3444 to book trips.

Meals on Wheels London

Rides to and from medical appointments by volunteers. Cost is $8 per trip. One ride per week per client and five business days notice required. As well, Meals on Wheels has a van which travels to various social outings, such as Bellamere, Strawberry farm, grocery shopping and malls, etc. Cost is $10 per trip.
Friendly Visiting: volunteers contact clients by phone once per week to chat in order to alleviate loneliness and isolation. Volunteers will also visit clients in their homes.

Over 55 (London) Inc., a non-profit agency, connects its members who are 55 years of age or older with customers who need personal assistance such as shopping, cleaning, driving, etc. or need handy or professional repairs to their homes. Over 55 members charge reasonable rates and customers pay them directly for hte work they do for them.
