Wound Care
Chronic wound and skin health team
The Chronic Wound and Skin Health Team at Parkwood Hospital takes an holistic approach to the prevention and management of wounds. Team members are from the Amputee Program, Adult Seating Program, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physician, physiotherapy, Skin Care Committee, Inpatient Skin Clinic and Research.
This group keeps up-to-date on new wound care and skin health developments, plans workshops, prepares for preceptorships, monitors research activities and addresses challenging cases.
