Shobhita Sharma

Shobhita Sharma is an experienced communications leader with a flair for storytelling and community building. A public relations practitioner, and a former multimedia journalist, she is now the manager of global marketing and communications for Scapa Industrial (now part of SWM International). A passionate Londoner, Shobhita is involved with a number of causes in the community. She is the Co-Vice President of the Board of Director at Childreach, and also serves as a Board Member for WIL Employment Connections. She served as the Co-Chair of the City of London’s Community Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and is the Chair for Priority III - Connect and Engage Londoners.  In 2017, together with fellow Londoner Adam Caplan, Shobhita co-produced and co-hosted a technology-based podcast, Towards London. Shobhita was named to the 2022 list of Top 20 Under 40 by London Inc. Magazine. She holds a master’s degree in Journalism and a B.A.(Hons) in Media, Information, and Technoculture and a Minor in General Cinema from Western University.
