Mental Health Care: Steele Street Treatment and Rehabilitation Residential Program

Steele Street offers integrated treatment, rehabilitation and support in a residential setting, for a maximum of two years, to individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness. A team of professionals from occupational therapy, nursing, psychiatry and therapeutic recreation backgrounds provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The home has capacity for nine residents. Individuals who have been in hospital for prolonged periods of time and/or require intensive skill development and support to increase their level of independence are well served by this service. Steele Street accepts referrals from all St. Joseph’s mental health care programs. Located in St. Thomas.
