There are 1377 parking spaces at Parkwood Institute.

Please remember that courteous parking helps to ensure maximum lot capacity. Fines can be issued by Standard Parking for vehicles that take up more than one spot along with other violations, learn more.

Daily Rate

Monthly Rate


$42.00 for 2018-2019 with increases annually until on par with other sites.

Lot 1:
Located directly in front of the main entrance of Main Building
$4.00 flat rate when you exit the parking lot
$1 and $2 coins only

Lot 3:
Located near Western Counties Wing (south/west side) 
$4.00 flat rate when you exit the parking lot  (will switch to pay upon entry on Nov. 14, 2017)
$1 and $2 coins only

Lot 4:
Located beside the Mental Health Care Building (west side) 
$4.00 flat rate when you exit the parking lot (will switch to pay upon entry on Nov. 20, 2017)
$1 and $2 coins only

Monthly rates
A monthly parking access card for visitors is $35.00, plus a deposit of $25.00 (refundable upon return). Visitors with this access card may park in Lot 1, Lot 3, or Lot 4.

Monthly passes can be purchased from the ImPark parking office, located on the main floor of the parking garage. Parking office hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Roadside Meter Parking:
Located along the roadways
Purchase ticket from Pay and Display machines, and display ticket on dashboard.
$4.00 for a four hour period. (These tickets do not allow you to park in a parking lot).

Drop-offs (10 minutes)
Temporary 10 minute parking drop off/pick up areas are located at the entrances to Main Building, Arthur J. Hobbins Building and Western Counties Wing. For the Mental Health Care Building patients can be picked up and dropped off in the pullover area in the traffic circle at the front of the building.

Public Transit
Contact the London Transit Commission at 519 451-1347 for rates and times. The Richmond 6 London Transit bus route serves Parkwood Institute, and drops riders off at the entrance for the Main Building and :the Mental Health Care Building.
