The former US congressman and son of the late Senator Ted Kennedy will share why we need to change the way people view and talk about mental health and addiction at the 10th annual Breakfast of Champions in May. He will also talk about his own journey of mental health and recovery as detailed in his recently released memoir A Common Struggle.
Presented by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation and the Canadian Mental Health Association Middlesex Breakfast of Champions is one of the largest events of its kind, raising important awareness and funds to support mental health care programs through St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation.
The event also celebrates the CMHA Middlesex Champion of Mental Health Awards recognizing the efforts of mental health care champions across our region. The public are invited to nominate a person and/or organization by visiting the CMHA Middlesex’s website (http://www.cmhamiddlesex.ca/).
