Fewer than 20 per cent of available tickets remaining

Dream Lottery and 50/50 Plus TM seem to be the hottest tickets in the region. With a week to go before the Bonus Draw deadline, tickets are more than 80 per cent sold and the 50/50 is quickly closing in on three quarters of a million dollars.

“The 50/50 Plus is on a record pace and may reach $1 million,” says St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation President and CEO Michelle Campbell. “That’s on top of the great prizes offered in Dream Lottery.”

Dream Lottery’s ultimate grand prize winner will have a choice between a striking container home in Bayfield by Hillier Contracting, a stylish and airy London loft condo by Domus with $400,000 cash, and a stunning London home by Bridlewood with a Lexus RX and $200,000 cash, or they can simply take $1 million in cash – all tax free. In addition to normal tour hours, the London Bridlewood home and the Bayfield container home will also be open Victoria Day.

You must purchase a Dream Lottery ticket before you are eligible to order a 50/50 Plus TM, but those Dream tickets may become a rare commodity if sales keep up at the current pace.

“The response to Dream Lottery this spring has been very positive and the Dream homes are creating a buzz,” says Campbell. “The Bayfield home alone has seen a record number of visitors since it opened.”

There are plenty of chances to win for those who buy now, including the Bonus Draw, the largest Early Bird Draw ever that will see 50 winners awarded prizes and the final draw in July. In addition, there are also calendar draws with winners every day in August and September.

Campbell notes that every time a ticket is purchased, the entire region becomes a winner too –because of the advanced health care that the lottery enables.

Dream Lottery has raised more than $27.1 million (net) since 1996 to support innovative equipment and technology, research, teaching and unique patient care initiatives at St. Joseph’s Health Care London, London Health Sciences Centre and Children’s Hospital at LHSC. These hospitals combined, receive more than 1.5 million patient visits each year from across Southwestern Ontario and beyond.
