At St. Joseph’s Hospital, our patients’ voices shape and guide the care we provide. We are currently seeking three to four patients to join our patient council for a two-year term.
Our patient council is comprised of leaders, front-line staff and patients who have received care in one or more programs at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Through the council, leaders receive input and recommendations for consideration in planning, hear concerns for ongoing quality improvement and gauge public opinion on new initiatives or changes to services.
The council meets six times per year from October to June. Meetings are held from 5:00 pm to 7:oo pm.
Through the patient council, leaders at St. Joseph’s Hospital receive input and recommendations for consideration in planning, hear concerns for ongoing quality improvement and gather a community perspective on new initiatives or changes to services.· Share insights and information about personal experiences to provide learning opportunities and quality improvement.
