Our pharmacists are pleased to offer personal, private consultation on all prescriptions to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your medication. We accept all government and major private prescription drug plans.

All pharmacy proceeds directly support patient care programs and services across St. Joseph’s Health Care London. 

We are a community retail pharmacy that proudly serves the public, staff, patients discharged from the hospital and those visiting clinics within the hospital.

Our services

Medscheck

If you are on three or more medications or if you are diabetic, you are eligible for a confidential review of your medications with your Prescription Shop pharmacist. 

This consultation allows you to discuss your medication-related concerns as well as an opportunity to learn how to optimize your medication therapy.

Compliance packaging

To help you remember your daily medications, your Prescription Shop pharmacy team can prepare your medications in convenient easy-to-use blister packages or dosette boxes

Flu vaccine, travel vaccines and other immunizations

As part of St. Joseph’s relentless pursuit of safety, and to better serve customers, the Prescription Shop now offers the flu shot. All are welcome – no appointment necessary.

The vaccine is available to any resident of Ontario age 5 and over with an Ontario health card. Also available are travel vaccines and other immunizations.

Your health follow-up

Your Prescription Shop pharmacist may call you to follow up on your health after a new medication is dispensed or when refills are due to ensure that your medication is working the way it should.

Prescription delivery

To assist with receiving your medications, your Prescription Shop pharmacy team offers a delivery service when you are unable to pick up your prescriptions.

Health clinics and advice

Your Prescription Shop pharmacist routinely offers health clinics on various health and wellness topics. They are also available to advise on natural products and over-the-counter products ensuring they are safe with your medications.
