Long Term Care Facts and Stats

In 1869 the Sisters of St. Joseph began their tradition of caring when they founded the original Mount Hope for the sick, frail, vulnerable and the elderly. That tradition of care remains an important part of St. Joseph’s Health Care, London. Building on the Sisters’ mission, the Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care was created.

In a home-like environment, Mount Hope provides supportive care for individuals 18 years and older who require ongoing physical and psychosocial support. Residents include those who are technologically dependent, those with mental or physical challenges, and the elderly. Care is tailored to individual needs, with the goal of enhancing independence, choice and personal wellness.
