John Callaghan, CPA, CA, FCMC, is the Executive Director of the St. Joseph’s Health Care Society that owns and sponsors St. Joseph’s Health Care London, St. Joseph’s Hospital (part of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance) in Chatham, St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia and St. Joseph’s-Hospice of London. He serves as the CEO of St. Joseph’s-Hospice of London and is on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia Lambton. John is a member of the Governing Council of the Catholic Health Alliance of Canada (CHAC) and the leadership group of the Ontario Alliance of Sponsors. He has worked in a variety of senior financial and general management positions based in London and Toronto over the span of his career. In past volunteer roles, John was Chairman of the Board of Directors of King’s University College Foundation, a federal campaign manager with the London West Liberal Association and Co-Chair of the Annual Bishop’s Dinner for London and surrounding communities. John’s awards include the 2001 Alumni Award of Distinction from King’s College, and recognition from the London District Catholic School Board as a graduate who lives the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations and has made a positive impact on the community. He is the current chair of St. Joseph’s Mission Committee of the Board.
Currently John is the Chair of the Audit Committee of The Lawson Foundation, a national foundation based in Toronto.
