London, Ontario – Mark Lukach will take the stage at Breakfast of Champions to tell the story of his family’s mental health journey. His bestselling memoir My Lovely Wife in the Psych Ward chronicles his wife Giulia’s battle with bipolar disorder and how he supported her through three hospitalizations with psychosis and her suicidal depression. His keynote will highlight the challenges family caregivers face in supporting loved ones living with a mental illness.
During the event, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Middlesex will also recognize local individuals and organizations advancing mental wellness through its Champion of Mental Health Awards.
