With 80 per cent sold, hospital supporters urged to get tickets soon
Dream Lottery tickets are selling fast – so fast that lottery officials are advising those planning to buy a ticket to do so soon.
“Tickets are selling faster than usual and we are already more than 80 percent sold,” says St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation President and CEO Michelle Campbell. “Since there are a limited number of tickets available, it’s best to buy now rather than risk being caught without a ticket if there is an early sell out.”
Buying before tomorrow (May 12) at midnight also gives hospital supporters a chance at the Bonus Draw that has a prize option of a Mitsubishi RVR, or a $25,000 Roadtrips Gift Certificate, or $20,000 in cash instead. There are also nine prizes of $2,500 cash up for grabs in the 9-5 Hourly Bonus. That still leaves the Early Bird Draw (May 26 deadline), the Final Draw (June 9 deadline), including July and August Giveaways where a prize is awarded for each day of the month. The Grand Prize in the Final Draw offers the choice between one-of-four grand prize dream home options, or $1,000,000 cash. Winners of the early draws still qualify for all
The 50/50 PlusTM draw now almost $700,000. Dream Lottery ticket holders can buy 50/50 PlusTM tickets, where the winner will take home half. The deadline for 50/50 PlusTM ticket sales is June 9.
Dream Lottery tickets are 2/$50, 6/$100, 16/$250, and 35/$500. Tickets can be purchased at participating Shoppers Drug Mart locations, at the dream homes, at the participating foundations’ offices, online, or by calling 519-488-7100. A Dream Lottery ticket must be purchased in order to also purchase 50/50 PlusTM tickets. 50/50 PlusTM tickets are 1/$10, 5/$25, 15/$50 and can be ordered at the time a Dream Lottery ticket is purchased. After buying a Dream Lottery ticket, 50/50 PlusTM tickets can also be ordered by phone at 519-488-7100.
The Westhaven and Medway Dream Homes will be open Victoria Day for tours. Check the lottery website for details. All Dream Lottery details including: rules, prize list, maps to the dream homes and their open hours, virtual home tours, sales deadlines and draw dates can be found on the lottery website at www.dreamitwinit.ca
