Dream and Grammy winner performs for veterans

Media are invited to attend tomorrow as Dream Lottery presents the $1 million Ultimate Grand Prize cheque to this spring’s winner, Walter Ostanek of St. Catharines, Ontario. The presentation will take place at 10 a.m. in the Western Counties Wing Auditorium at Parkwood Institute, St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

Mr. Ostanek is the three-time Grammy–winning musician known as Canada’s Polka King. He will be bring his accordion along and will play a short set for the veterans at Parkwood after the cheque presentation.

There will be an opportunity for the media to speak with Mr. Ostanek right after the musical set and before he mingles with the veterans.

When: Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m -11 a.m. Media are asked to be in place prior to 10 a.m.

Where: Western Counties Wing Auditorium, First Floor, Parkwood Institute, St. Joseph’s Health Care London, 550 Wellington Road, London

Parking: Parking Lot #3 is closest lot to Western Counties Wing. Parking is $4 flat rate ($1 and $2 coins) in the lots or pay-and-display at spaces along the institute’s interior roadway.
