Pokémon Go players on St. Joseph’s London premises

We are redesigning our website. Share your feedback in this short survey.

Jul. 19, 2016

Pokémon Go has become a viral sensation with its release in Canada this month, but the mobile game could create many challenging issues in a hospital setting, including safety and privacy concerns for patients, visitors and staff.

While intended for entertainment purposes, those playing the game could impede medical staff in their work or create unwanted distractions.

St. Joseph’s London is asking players to refrain from requesting ‘Pokéstops’ or dropping ‘lures’ at any of our sites. Please also observe the personal safety and privacy warning issued by Ontario Provincial Police when playing the game.
