Season of Celebration's Veterans Tree of Caring shines bright with new donation

Dec. 08, 2011

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #41 (St. Thomas), will be presenting St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation with a donation to the Season of Celebration campaign’s Veterans Tree of Caring. This year donations made to the Veteran’s Tree of Caring will support ceiling lifts, pressure reducing mattresses, blanket warmers and the refurbishment of Parkwood Hospital grounds.

After 20 years the Season of Celebration, and its pink Lights of Caring, has become a fixture in the community. Because of generous donors $3 million has been raised in support of patient and resident care. This year’s campaign goal is $360,000.

This year’s Season of Celebration campaign will end on Dec. 31. To make a donation, or for more information visit,
