St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation and the United Way of London & Middlesex team up again in a joint fundraising effort.

An annual program now in its fourth year, the Share the Spirit campaign is St. Joseph’s Health Care London’s annual employee giving program in support of St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation and the United Way of London-Middlesex.

Donations made by St. Joseph’s staff through the Share the Spirit campaign have a great impact on the lives of many people, including patients and residents, who live in our community.

This year’s campaign raised more than $88,500, lifting the combined four year total to more than $420,000.

Monies raised, in part, go to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation where it is used to fund research and to purchase front line medical equipment like ultrasound machines, patient care needs such as mattresses and education for patients and their families. Dollars earmarked for the United Way will be used to meet community needs in their three defined impact areas: poverty, mental health, and beginnings & transitions.

The successful campaign at St. Joseph’s is the result of hundreds of volunteer hours devoted to canvassing employees and talking about sharing the spirit through donations to our own foundation and United Way.

The media is invited to attend this great photo opportunity:
