When patients walk through our doors, we want them to know they are valued as an individual.

Our Vision for St. Joseph's is to "earn complete confidence in the care we provide and make a lasting difference in the quest to live fully".

As part of St. Joseph's new strategic planning process, a gathering of our Patient, Resident and Family Councils was held on Dec. 5, 2014. This session included renewed engagement of our Councils regarding the Patient and Resident Statement of Values as established by St. Joseph's in 2010. A refreshed draft statement was sent to each Council for input and a represenative from the Communication & Public Affairs team joined each Council meeting to engage members and listen to feedback.

All feedback was considered and the new statement has now been finalized and approved by Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors. I am pleased to share with you the new Statement of Patient, Resident and Family Values.

This statement will serve as a cultural driver for the care provided by staff and physicians across St. Joseph's Health Care London.
