Gastroenterology Program
The gastroenterology program at St. Joseph's Hospital offers a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. With gastroenterologists and surgeons working on site, St. Joseph's performs a variety of GI surgery procedures and has a full endoscopic clinic providing a broad spectrum of specialized diagnostic and treatment options.
Serving Southwestern Ontario, the multi-disciplinary team provides leading-edge care for esophageal disorders, swallowing problems, motility problems, peptic ulcer disease, biliary disorders and inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease).
As a teaching centre, our gastroenterologists provide training for the next generation of experts as members of the Division of Gastroenterology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario.
Appointments to the gastroenterology program are by referral only.
