Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Program
The Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Unit is a 20-bed inpatient unit located on 5A East at Parkwood Hospital. The program is designed to meet the rehabilitation needs of those with complex musculoskeletal problems requiring an in-patient, interdisciplinary approach. All referred patients require assessment by a clinical team member prior to admission. Depending on your progress, we anticipate your length of stay to be two to four weeks. Common admission problems include, but are not limited to:
- Hip Fracture
- Total Joint Replacement
- Generalized Deconditioned State
- Neuromuscular Disorders
- Trauma

To provide excellence in rehabilitative care to adults with complex musculoskeletal problems using an interdisciplinary team approach.
Program Scope:
- The program is designed to provide excellence in rehabilitative care to those with complex musculoskeletal problems.
- The MSK program actively participates in research and education in collaboration with the Lawson Health Research Institute, The University of Western Ontario and other clinical programs at Parkwood Hospital and London's teaching hospitals.
