Visitor parking rate changes as of April 1, 2022

As part of St. Joseph’s ongoing efforts to ensure parking rates are fair and consistent while maintaining the sustainability of our lots, some changes are being made to visitor parking rates, effective April 1, 2022. 

St. Joseph's makes every effort to keep prices as low as possible. Comparisons are done regularly with other hospitals in the province and St. Joseph’s lots are far below rates charged at other hospitals. It’s important to note that maintenance of parking garages and lots are not covered by the province. St. Joseph’s lots are self-supporting and maintained by the revenue generated.

The following are all visitor parking changes as of April 1, 2022:

St. Joseph’s Hospital

• The maximum daily visitor parking rate at St. Joseph’s Hospital will increase from $8.00 to $8.50.
• The monthly parking rate will increase from $56.60 to $58.00 per month.

Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care

• The daily visitor rate will increase from $6.00 to $6.50.
• The monthly parking rate will increase from $56.60 to $58.00 per month. 

Parkwood Institute

• The daily visitor rate will increase from $6.00 to $6.50. 
• The monthly parking rate will increase from $56.60 to is $58.00 per month. 

Southwest Centre for Forensic Mental Health Care

• The daily visitor rate will increase from $6.00 to $6.50. 
• The monthly parking rate will increase from $56.60 to $58.00 per month. 

St. Joseph’s Family Medical and Dental Centre

• The daily visitor rate increases from a $2 minimum to a $4 minimum, and from an $8.00 maximum to an $8.50 maximum.
