How to Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are required to make a minimum commitment of 6 months of volunteering.

How to Apply

1) Complete and submit an application:

Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered. View our current volunteer opportunities.

2) If you are selected for an interview and offered a placement in our program, you must:

  • Complete a mandatory immunization protocol (including a two-step TB test)
  • Attend a volunteer orientation session
  • Sign hospital privacy and code of conduct documents
  • Attend additional unit/area training and orientation

Please note all applications are reviewed but, due to the volume of applications we receive, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Application packages will be kept on file for six months.

Please mail, or drop off your completed package to one of the addresses noted on the application form. You only need to apply to one of the sites, even if you have offered to volunteer at more than one location.
