Rules of Play – Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle
1. The Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle is authorized and licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of
Ontario (AGCO) and the License Number RAF1499878.
2. Ticket purchasers must reside in Ontario and be 18 years of age or older. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.
3. The following individuals and their immediate family members residing in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle:
- St. Joseph’s Health Care London board members
- St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation staff and board members
- Event vendors and suppliers, including:
- Encore
- RBC Place London
- Contact Creative
- TMD
- Brick House Productions
- Rafflebox Technologies Inc.
4. Ticket pricing is as follows:
- 10 for $20
- 40 for $50
- 100 for $100
5. The total tickets available for the Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle will be unlimited.
6. The purchase of a Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle ticket binds you to the rules of play.
7. Ticket sales will begin on October 9, 2025 at 5:00 p.m and close on October 9, 2025 at 8:25 p.m.
8. Tickets will be sold in person using the electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc., only at the 2025 Tribute Dinner event held at RBC Place London on October 9, 2025.
9. Participants will receive a hard copy of their raffle tickets and an emailed copy of their raffle tickets (if an email address is provided at the time of purchase).
10. Participants will be required to provide their phone number at the time of the raffle tickets purchase. The Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle winner will be contacted via phone call if they are not present at the event when the winning ticket number is announced. The winner does not need to be present at the event to claim their prize.
11. The winning ticket will be determined by a random number generator drawn through the Rafflebox
Technologies Inc. platform. The Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle draw will take place at 9:00 p.m. on October 9, 2025, at RBC Place London. The winning ticket number will be announced at 9:25 p.m. during the Tribute Dinner event.
12. The winner will be issued a cheque for fifty per cent of all monies received. The other fifty per cent of allmonies, less admin costs, will be used to support the highest priority needs of St. Joseph’s Health Care London, which could include research, capital equipment and/or education.
13. The Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle prize cheque will be available for pick up at St. Joesph’s Health Care Foundation, 268 Grosvenor St. Room A1-015 London, ON a maximum of 10 business days after the raffle closes.
14. If the prize is not claimed, it will be secured in safekeeping for a period of 6 months from the date of the draw. Every effort will be made to follow up with the winner (phone calls, text etc.). If at the end of the 6 months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
15. The winner must present valid government issued photo identification to claim the prize. If the winner cannot provide ID at the time of claiming, the prize will be held until verification can be completed.
16. The winning ticket number of the Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle will be made public online, and/or in print.
17. The purchase of raffle tickets is not considered a charitable donation by the Canada Revenue Agency and is therefore not eligible for a tax receipt.
18. Any technical issues faced when purchasing a ticket, for the duration of the Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle, will be addressed in a timely manner.
19. Any disputes arising in relation to the Tribute Dinner 50/50 Raffle will be resolved by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation. All decisions are final and made in accordance with AGCO rules.
