Carrie Ramsay

In her current assignment as the Senior Director, Finance, USAC Health Care Business Group, Carrie is responsible for providing counsel to the 3M North American Health Care organization. She leads a team of individuals that counsel the sales and marketing organizations and helps drive growth and improve our customer experience. Carrie is a member of the USAC Health Care Operating Committee, 3M Canada Corporate Affairs Team and the 3M Canada Leadership team and is based in London, Ontario. Carrie is a director for 3M Canada as well as a number of affiliated legal entities. She is a director for 3M Unitek Corporation based in California as well as a Director-at-Large for the London Chamber of Commerce. Carrie is also a working group member of the Canada Chamber of Commerce Council for Women’s Advocacy. Carrie joined 3M in 1997 as a Financial Analyst in Corporate Accounting and has since held various roles with increasing responsibility. Her roles include Six Sigma Black Belt, Finance Manager for the Consumer Business, Finance Manager for the Safety & Graphic Business and Manager for Canada’s Financial Operations and Manufacturing Counsel Team. Carrie was also the Director of Finance for 3M Canada. She was a member of the 3M Canada Management Operating Committee and the International Finance Operating Committee. Carrie’s most recent role was as the Global Finance Advance 3M Leader which helped to drive the implementation of 3M’s new operating model design and process changes, specifically for the finance organization. Carrie is currently the Executive Champion of Diversity and Inclusion at 3M Canada and was previously a member of the 3M Canada Women’s Leadership Forum and past chair of 3M Canada Leadership Team. Carrie is also a member of Finance Executive International. Carrie is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and hold a Master of Business degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and a Bachelor of Honours Commerce degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Carrie is a strong communicator and team player who has acquired broad experience across multiple businesses throughout her career. She lives in London, Ontario; is married to Ed and has two children.
