Infectious Diseases Care Program - How To Access

Patients attending the Infectious Diseases Care Program for medical care require a physician referral.

For social work and dietary services for HIV-related issues, self-referrals are accepted.

Patients interested in pre-exposure prophylaxis to prevent HIV can self-refer to the Infectious Diseases Care Program.

Patients require an appointment to be seen. The Infectious Diseases Care Program is not able or equipped to manage emergencies at the clinic.

Patients with urgent care issues should go to their family doctor, a walk-in clinic, Urgent Care Centre or the nearest emergency room.
