Overall Learning Objectives:

1. Acquire a greater understanding of diabetes care in indigenous Canadians.
2. Apply approaches of care to high-risk people living with diabetes and complications; renal disease and congestive heart failure.
3. Explore the role of new therapies and technology in diabetes and obesity.

This event meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Continuing Professional Development, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
