Mental Health in the Digital Age
Breakfast of Champions is hosted by St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation in partnership with CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services. It is the largest and longest-running event of its kind in Southwestern Ontario, raising awareness and funds for mental health care in our region. Since 2007, the event has raised more than $2.1 million and contributed to a greater awareness and understanding of topics related to mental health and wellness.
Mental Health in the Digital Age: Featuring guest speakers Dr. Bailey Parnell and Carol Todd
In an era where digital technology touches every aspect of our lives, Mental Health in the Digital Age explores how social media pressures, constant connectivity and smartphone overuse affect our well-being – and what we can do about it. Featuring Carol Todd, internationally recognized advocate on online safety, and Dr. Bailey Parnell, award-winning researcher in digital wellbeing, the event blends personal insight with research-backed strategies. Attendees will gain practical tools to recognize online risks, foster healthier tech habits and protect mental wellness. Engaging, timely and deeply relevant, this event empowers families and communities to navigate digital spaces with resilience and awareness.
