Donations create magic

Sharing stories about why your donation matters to St. Joseph's
autumn leaves

Saying ‘thank you’ seldom feels like enough for what your gifts help to make possible every day at St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

That is why we created Donor Matters. A new publication that shows the impact you are having on so many people in our community – and the depth of our gratitude for your generosity.

Your donations create magic at St. Joseph’s and we want to share that with you.

Like the moment of relief felt by Doug Webber when the lump in his daughter’s breast was confirmed not to be cancer. A lump that was discovered with an MRI machine made possible by donor gifts.

The moments of gratitude felt by up-and-coming surgeons Drs. Daniel Paccot and Ryan Gao as they spent a year training with world-renowned physicians in St. Joseph’s surgical program, thanks to donor-funded fellowships. And the happiness experienced by Brenda Schedler  who is able to walk again because she had access to specialized rehabilitation equipment at Parkwood Institute made possible thanks to donor support.

The support you give is vital to our work at St. Joseph’s. The extraordinary advancements in clinical care, training and research would simply not be possible without your help.

I hope you enjoy reading Doug, Dr. Paccot, Dr. Gao and Brenda’s full stories, and a few more, in the enclosed newsletter.

As the leaves begin to change and we gather with friends and family during this season of thanks, I look back on this past year with incredible gratitude for your continued trust and faith in our mission of care at St. Joseph’s. Thank you.

With sincere gratitude,

Michelle M. Campbell
President & CEO
