St. Joseph’s Health Care London is planning to replace the aging Grosvenor Street parking garage with a new, purpose‑built facility. The new garage will support safe, reliable and accessible parking for patients, visitors, staff and physicians.

Why does the Grosvenor Street parking garage need to be replaced?

The existing garage has served the hospital for decades but is nearing the end of its functional life. Replacing it will ensure reliable and accessible parking for patients, visitors, staff and physicians while meeting modern safety and accessibility standards.

Where can I park during construction?

Parking access will continue in the existing garage, which will stay open until the new garage is complete. Staff, patients and visitors can continue to park as usual. Any temporary changes to routes or entrances will be communicated in advance. 

When will construction begin? How long will it take?

Construction is currently anticipated to begin by late 2027, with the new garage opening early 2029.

What will take the place of the current parking garage? 

Once the new facility is operational, the current garage will be demolished and that area will be used for future clinical expansion.
