Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care - Services

Physical Therapy programs

Mount Hope offers physiotherapy which takes place in our Wellness Centre gym or one on one in residents’ rooms. Residents are seen by a physiotherapist shortly following admission and, if they wish, can participate in group or individual programs on their unit and/or by using the facilities of the Wellness Centre gym. Our Physiotherapist are trained to assess the need for mobility devices and make referrals for the appropriate interventions.

Therapeutic Recreational Programs

The Therapeutic Recreation team provides a wide variety of opportunities for residents to engage in  activities both on their own and with other residents, friends and families. Families and friends are welcome to join residents in these activities. Events include BINGO, entertainment, cards, community outings and other more innovative programs such as virtual reality and cycling without age.
A certified music therapist is also available to residents.

Mount Hope family members can log into an online family portal program called Activity pro to review activities schedule. Login here: https://online.activitypro.net/users/login/mounthope.
