Monitoring and Tracking
Proper monitoring and tracking of energy consumption and cost is integral to all areas of energy management and is achieved through the use of data collection and analysis hardware and software.
St. Joseph’s contracts the services of Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and ECNG Energy to assist with energy monitoring and tracking.
Honeywell is a long-time service provider to St. Joseph’s and maintains data collection hardware, equipment controls, and energy consumption analysis services at the Parkwood Institute and Southwest Centre for Forensic Mental Health Care. Honeywell’s building management system, Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) is used to ensure building operations are efficient, safe, and reliable.
Johnson Controls supplies HVAC equipment control, monitoring, and data collection services at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care. Johnson Controls’ METASYS Building Automation System integrates HVAC, lighting, and security systems and has helped provide the high level of patient comfort, safety, and operational productivity that the hospital provides.
