Highest Priority Needs
Your gift will change a life
When you give to the Spirit of St. Joseph’s Fund you are making a difference by supporting the highest priority needs across our organization. Your gift will allow us to continue to pursue life-changing advances in research, care, and education.
You can help bridge the gap between patient needs and our publicly-funded health care system
Canada’s aging population presents a real challenge to our health care system. Today, more than half of all Canadians live with a chronic disease, and rates continue to rise. Our publicly-funded health care system is constantly asked to do more with less. We need to change, but our system cannot support transformational change alone.
But together with community support – your support – we can invest in healthcare innovations and discoveries that would otherwise not be possible.
What is the Spirit of St. Joseph’s Fund?
Created in the spirit of our founders – the Sisters of St. Joseph - The Spirit of St. Joseph’s Fund is an unrestricted fund that enables the Foundation to respond to urgent requests for funding and to support the highest priority care, research and education needs essential to improve the quality of lives of our patients and residents.
Your support may help to detect cancer, discover the next research breakthrough in the areas of diabetes, lung disease or Alzheimer’s disease, or support a youth learning to walk again following a serious accident.
It takes a community to build better care
It took a community to build St. Joseph’s, and it takes a community to sustain it. As the healthcare needs of our aging population continue to grow, so does our need for community support.
Every donation to The Spirit of St. Joseph’s Fund counts. With your support, we will continue to push the boundaries of patient care, research and education, and fulfill our promise to help people live life to the fullest.
