Research
Research is at the heart of every health care advancement.
At. St. Joseph’s, we take a "bench to bedside" approach to medical research. This means taking discoveries from the laboratory and applying them in the clinic where they will directly benefit patients.
In Specialized Geriatrics and Long Term Care, research teams are focused on better understanding diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. This knowledge will improve diagnostic methods and help fuel new treatments that can be integrated within each patient’s plan of care.
